Borrego Springs – Anza Borrego State Park – One of the most popular hiking trails in Sunny San Diego is Palm Canyon Trail starting near the Borrego Springs Visitors Center and Campground. Cabrillo National Monument / State Park – A historic monument and scenic park located high on the Point Loma peninsula overlooking San Diego harbor with panoramic views of San Diego and the ocean. Located 15 minutes northwest of downtown San Diego.

Cuyamaca State Park – The beautiful park offers camping and hiking in an oak woodland forest, with a sprinkling of pines and lovely meadows with creeks. There are over 100 miles of trails which accommodate hikers, bikers, and equestrians.

La Jolla Caves (pronounced "La Hoya") – A group of caves situated in cliffs along on the ocean. Lions, Tigers and Bears – Big Cat Sanctuary – A federally and state licensed rescue facility dedicated to providing a safe haven for unwanted and abused exotic cats and as such, we do not conduct tours, however we do schedule private visits for our members to come and visit by appointment. Located 45 minutes east of San Diego in Japatul.
NOTE - All visits are by appointment only. No one under 16 years of age is allowed on the ranch without parent or guardian. To participate in "Feed A Big Cat" you must be 16 years of age or older. |
